On My Own - Great Gray Owl  Giclee Reproduction

Have you ever had that feeling that you are truly on your own and your success or failure is completely within your power?  This painting “On My Own” depicts this solitary bird of prey perched on a tree branch overlooking the forest floor.  I came upon this Owl while out photographing nature and I was struck with its beauty.  I could have named the painting Beauty and Brains but I picked the name “On My Own” because of the Owls ability to adapt, to survive and to thrive in the wilderness all on its own.
